Syzl currently defines a certified kitchen to be one that has undergone a municipal or regional health authority health and safety inspection within the last two years. Typically, inspections occur at shorter intervals than two years but due to backlog that developed during the pandemic, many municipalities and health authorities are not yet fully caught up.
